New resources are coming to the urology community! Dr. Chad Vezina (UW O’Brien Center Co-Director/Project 2 Co-I) and Dr. Doug Strand (UW O’Brien Center Project 2 Co-I) have been awarded a RC2 grant from NIDDK for their work “Bedside to Bench Resources for Lower Urinary Tract Research”! Drs. Strand and Vezina will resolve the cellular and molecular landscape of aging, hyperplasia, and dysfunction in the human prostate and bladder and engineer new resources for prostate and bladder specific gene targeting in mice.
