Dr. Diego Hernando awarded 3-year >$1M R01 to study “Diffusion MRI of the Body”

Congratulations to Dr. Diego Hernando, PhD, UW O’Brien Center Project 1 Co-I and Assistant Professor in the UW-Madison Departments of Radiology and Medical Physics, for being awarded a 3-year, $1,039,350 R01 grant from the National Institutes of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering to study “Diffusion MRI of the Body”.  The new MRI methods developed in this project have potential applications in urology, including for imaging the prostate and bladder.  Great job, Dr. Hernando!
