Dr. Chad Vezina’s laboratory welcomes Marcela Ambrogi, a PhD student in the UW-Madison Endocrinology and Reproductive Physiology Graduate Program! Marcela will be studying the urethra, with a particular focus on the female urethra, and will be working in collaboration with Dr. Michael Romero at Mayo Clinic to decipher a new mechanism of innate immunity that may afford protection against UTI.
