UW Cardiovascular Physiology Core receives UW-Madison Research Core Revitalization Program grant

Congratulations to Drs. Timothy Hacker and Hector Valdivia for being awarded a UW Research Core Revitalization Program grant for the Cardiovascular Physiology Core Facility (https://morcore.cvrc.wisc.edu/)!  In collaboration with the O’Brien Center, the Cardiovascular Physiology Core Facility performs urinary flow ultrasound in addition to a wide range of other services.  The mission of the CVRC Physiology and Surgery Core Laboratory is to provide a central resource of knowledge, skills, personnel, and equipment that allows investigators access to cardiovascular and other techniques to facilitate research.  Support for this grant, titled “Replacement of an Obsolete High Frequency Ultrasound Machine Used for Small Animal Imaging”, was provided by the University of Wisconsin-Madison Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and Graduate Education with funding from the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation.
