Chad Vezina, PhD, associate professor of comparative biosciences in the UW School of Veterinary Medicine, is the recipient of the 2016 Zoetis Animal Health Award for Research Excellence. The UW School of Veterinary Medicine established the award in 1985 and it is given to those faculty members who, through their dedication and investigation in research, are chosen from among their peers as an outstanding researcher in the field of veterinary medicine.
