Therefore, we will suspend the SPUUR program for Summer 2021 and Summer 2022. We hope to reopen the application portal in Fall 2022 for in-person activities in Summer 2023.

No, interns are expected to participate each week of the summer research experience.

Which department runs the program?
The program is funded by the National Institutes of Health and intern research will focus on human urology. Participating faculty are in the Schools of Medicine, Pharmacy, and Veterinary Medicine. The program director is in the School of Veterinary Medicine.
