Dr. Kristina Penniston Elected President of ROCK Society

Congratulations to Dr. Kristina Penniston, CAIRIBU Interactions Core Director, UW Summer Program in Undergraduate Urologic Research Co-Director, and UW Department of Urology Senior Scientist, for being elected President of the Research on Calculus Kinetic (ROCK) Society! Dr. Penniston was appointed into the Society in 2009 and served as Secretary-Treasurer from 2008-2023. The ROCK Society’s mission is to further the investigation of calculi and reach a better understanding of the basic mechanisms involved. It is the premiere scientific organization in the US dedicated to the study of kidney stone formation, management, and prevention and includes many of the world’s leading stone experts.
